COVID-19 Update: Parks open with limited amenities and programs.

Open:
-Parks: All park sites are open (barring any unforeseen issues, flooding, etc.)
-Playgrounds: As of June 12 playgrounds are open!
-Golf: Golf is open with restrictions. Visit http://lakecountyparks.com/557/Golfing-During-Coronavirus for more information
-Driving Range: The driving range at Cedar Creek is open
-FootGolf: Cedar Creek's FootGolf course is open.
-Mini Golf: Mini Golf at Cedar Creek is open.
-Hiking trails: Open, please maintain social distancing
-Restrooms: In general, restrooms are open throughout the open park sites.
-Fishing: You can fish at Oak Ridge Prairie, Lake Etta, Three Rivers, Stoney Run, Lemon Lake, and Grand Kankakee Marsh.
-Disc Golf: Disc Golf is open and available at Lemon Lake
-Trails: Bike Trails maintained by Lake County Parks (Oak Savannah and the section of the Erie Lackawanna between Griffith and Schererville) are open.
-Horseback Riding: Trails are open to horses at Deep River, Buckley Homestead, Stoney Run, and Grand Kankakee Marsh. The wet spring has had a major impact on our trail system and not all trails may be easily passable on horseback.
- Dog Park: Dogwood Run at Lemon Lake is open, please maintain social distancing.
-Park Fees: Will be collected weekends beginning June 6.

Limited:
-Deep River Waterpark: Re-Opens Tuesday, June 30. Not all attractions available, pre-purchased, date-specific tickets required. Visit www.deepriverwaterpark.com for all the details and to purchase tickets.
-Deep River County Park Visitor Center & Store: Open with limited hours. Visit Facebook for the most up-to-date shop hours.
-Environmental Awareness Center at Gibson Woods: Our nature center is open on a limited basis. Hours are Noon-4PM, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Bird viewing room will be open but with limited occupancy and no food allowed
-Shelter Rentals: Shelter rentals are open for booking, but we ask that hosts abide by the group gathering guidelines set out by the state.
-Wedding Gazebo: The gazebo is available for rent, but we ask that the wedding remains within the group gathering guidelines set out by the state.
-Guided Hikes and Programs: Some outdoor hikes and programs are available but pre-registration is limited and mandatory. See our calendar for the latest information.

-Historic Buildings: The gristmill at Deep River County Park and historic buildings at Buckley Homestead are currently closed.
-Bellaboo's: Bellaboo's is currently closed.
-Deep River Waterpark: Deep River Waterpark is currently closed.
