Each day little diggers will feature garden songs, worm digs and eco-friendly information that young minds can dig their shovels into!

  7. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Ticket Sale

    August 29, 2018, 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Deep River Waterpark

    One of the Lake County Parks Department’s most popular events, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, will open up ticket sales on August 30th, 2018. This event is an interactive, walking performance that takes visitors of all ages through the story of the headless horseman. Ticket sales will take place at Deep River Waterpark on Wednesday, August 29th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and are expected to sell out. Performance dates are September 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd. Advance ticket sales are required, no tickets will be available at the performance.

  8. Northwest Indiana Dragonfly Hunt: Cowles Bog-Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore

    We’ll be exploring the region looking for local dragonflies. For this hunt, we will meet at Cowles Bog at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (trailhead parking lot is at the end of Mineral Springs Road by Dunes Acres gatehouse).
