100 Years at Buckley Homstead - It's all about the BARN
The celebration has come and gone, but the barn is still standing tall. See one hundred years of history in the barn and more than that throughout the park site.
Did you know the Buckley's settled the farm in the middle 1800s? Did you know the front part of the main house is original? Did you know that a Buckley family member lived in the house from the time it was built until the time it was donated to the park department in the 1970s? There's a lot to learn down on the farm.
Historical buildings are open weekends in the fall. Be sure to stop by for a visit. Sit on the porch and stay a while.
