Bring a blanket or chairs and cross over the bridge to Grinders Field to watch a FREE old-fashioned baseball game the likes of which can't be experienced anywhere else. The match is played by 1858 rules, when base ball was considered a sport for respectable gentlemen. You won't find any gloves or helmets here, ungentlemanly behavior may be subject to fines by the umpire, and particularly good plays will be met with a HUZZAH from players and cranks (that's you!) alike. 

Pack a picnic or grab lunch from Curbside Dogs, but plan for us to come around and offer you a cookie early on in the match. These are free, but donations are always appreciated and go right back to helping us continue to put on matches. At the end of every match, be sure to hang around especially if you have kids! The kids have a chance to step up to home plate, hit the ball, and run the bases.
