  6. Grinders VS Springfield Long Nines

    August 23, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM @ Deep River County Park

    Travel across the bridge and back to 1858 to see how baseball was originally played. Bring your blankets and chairs and join us on Grinders Field.   7. Sleepy Hollow Ticket Sale

    Ticket sale in person at Deep River Waterpark! $9 per person (15 ticket limit) Tip for newbies: Lines form begins to form as early as noon. Any tickets left unsold will be sold at the Main Office either in person or via phone starting at 9 AM next day. 219-769-7275. One of the Lake County Parks Department’s most popular events, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This event is an interactive, walking performance that takes visitors of all ages through the story of the headless horseman. No patio/beach umbrellas allowed in ticket line. Personal umbrellas only. Performance dates are September 11th, 12th, 28th, and 19th. First performance begins at 6:30 PM and runs every 20 minutes up to and including a 9:30 PM. The performance of Sleepy Hollow is held at Buckley Homestead in Lowell Indiana. Advance ticket sales are required, no tickets will be available at the performance.
